Extension Lecture on “Opportunities in Financial & Capital Markets of India” Organized at Govt. College, Sultanpur Farrukhnagar Dated: 13th November, 2025 Today, dated 13th November 2025, the Student Led Placement Cell (SLPC) of Government College, Sultanpur Farrukhnagar, under the leadership of Principal Dr. Sunita Rani, organized a Special Lecture on the theme “Opportunities in Financial & Capital Markets of India.” The event was held in the college seminar hall and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various streams. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Mukul Jain, an eminent academician and corporate trainer, who serves as a Visiting Professor (Management) and Resource Person with SEBI, NISM, and CDSL. He shared deep insights into the structure, functions, and opportunities within India’s financial and capital markets. During his address, Dr. Jain emphasized the importance of financial literacy, investment planning, and disciplined savings habits among youth. He guided students on how to manage their finances effectively and invest wisely in instruments such as mutual funds, shares, and bonds. He also discussed the role of capital markets in India’s economic growth and the career prospects available in the financial sector. The session was highly interactive, as students actively participated by asking questions related to investments, market trends, and personal finance management. Dr. Jain encouraged students to cultivate early financial awareness and make informed financial decisions to secure a stable future. The event was smoothly coordinated by Ms. Pooja Kumari, Training and Placement officer, under the valuable guidance of Principal Dr. Sunita Rani. The lecture concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Rohit Sharma expressing gratitude to Dr. Mukul Jain for his informative and inspiring session. The event was highly appreciated by the Principal for its relevance in enhancing students’ understanding of finance and capital markets. All the faculty members present in the session found it highly enriching and insightful.
